Mike and the team don't just run a pub, they run a safe place for all LGBTQ members and allies. Mike always knows how to put an event on and I have made so many important friends from here. I can fully be myself and I always use this place as a friends hang or date spot. Everyone is amazing. Coffee and 0% options are elite too. Great for sobers 😍

My fave pub in Bristol. Queer friendly, cosy, with in house beers and pop up food. Lots of outside seating, both covered and uncovered, with heating, and comfy seating inside. Since discovering it I rarely go anywhere else. Long live the OCG!

Castle Green is hands down the friendliest pub I've ever stepped foot in. From the moment you see those gorgeous flowers adorning the front, you know you're in for something special. The staff here are absolutely fantastic - genuinely warm, welcoming, and always ready with a smile. They make every visit feel like you're catching up with old friends rather than just grabbing a drink. And can we talk about how dog-friendly this place is? My four-legged companion absolutely loves it here, and the staff treat our furry friends like VIPs. It's so refreshing to find a pub that truly welcomes the whole family - paws and all! The atmosphere is unbeatable - proper local pub vibes with heart and soul. Whether you're popping in for a quick pint or settling in for the evening, Castle Green delivers every single time. Bristol locals, you absolutely MUST check this place out. Visitors to the city, make this a priority stop. You won't regret it! Can't recommend it highly enough.
