If your a gay man this is the place. I was a straight lady and went with a gay friend. My experience in the past is they haven't been very friendly to females, but this place was super friendly! Drinks were great! Fast service with a smile. They also added another small bar in the outside patio. I feel if they hired a waitress to pick up all the empty drinks, it would be great! Otherwise, it's a super fun place to go. No food.

Perfect atmosphere and service for a fun, neighborhood gay bar. You won't find the "tourists" and bridal parties here. Very "come as you are" with the best pours for the best price in town. Also, best gay bar for darts (four upgraded electronic soft tip boards from Bullshooter), hands down. Relaxed on most weekdays, busier on weekends and Sundays.

I was visiting from out of state and have had a rather lousy trip. I had hoped a visit to the local bear bar would be nice and put me in a better mood, but I made a mistake. Apparently I was an inconvenience to the bartender when I asked what beers they have. He spun around a table sign and walked away. I did enjoy the bingo night. After ordering a few coors light I ordered again at the bar and was handed a pineapple vodka seltzer. 🤮 So I threw it away and paid my tab and left.

Iconic bear bar in the Melrose district in Phoenix. Laid back atmosphere. No one takes themselves too seriously here which makes it a very easy place to be yourself. Staff is friendly and fun. Great place to meet other men.

Not impressed. The bar was clean and totally empty. 20minutes before ever being acknowledged. I Hollared if anyone was there. He was outside caring on a conversation with a non customer. Ordered a dirty martini at 14 bucks. Clearly he never made a dirty martini..it was pure olive juice and undrinkable. Customer #2 came in and couldn't get served either..cause bartender was outside again with some non patron. Will not be back. I'm surprised Pat allows this?

Consistent and consistently good. I only get into Glendale/Phoenix about once a year for work, but literally EVERYONE who works here is warm and friendly...
