About Playa Martiánez
Playa Martiánez has been associated with Puerto de la Cruz’s gay scene for decades and remains a central black-sand beach option on Tenerife’s north coast. Volcanic sand, coves and landscaped edges create a mix of open public sunbathing and slightly more secluded corners, with a longstanding mixed gay presence.
