REM Hotel

Look folks: You get what you pay for, and for $55cad each a night, I couldn't be that upset. Could anything have prepared me for just how loud it was until 5am? No. Did I want to do some gentle plumbing when the water stopped draining in the shower? Also no! Would I have preferred it was a little cleaner? Yes, for sure. But! For those looking to save money, can sleep comfortably with ear plugs in and enjoy karaoke, it will definitely do. Staff were nice, I could sleep and I did not get any diseases OR bed bugs. Solid 3/5.

The only good thing about this place is if you're one of the drunks partying until 5am. The photos don't match the rooms at all; no head board, no pillows (only 2 small pillows) no cleanliness (no wallpaper, dirty carpet, damaged windows), and no wall hook (broken, on the floor). Also, there are 2 night establishments (a club/closes at 5am and a bar/closes at 3am) right below the hotel. So forget about getting any sleep. The floor was literally rumbling from the night club on the second floor.

Stayed overnight, never again. The room wasn’t big enough to swing a cat in, decor grubby. Windows old and flaky paint, carpet dirty. Found a half eaten kebab in the mini fridge, and an opened bottle of someone else’s water on arrival. Socket point not working. The bathroom ( down a grubby corridor ) smelt of sewage when you flushed the toilet, and other male guests thought it ok to take a pee with the door wide open! No hand towels in the toilet to wash/dry your hands. The mattress was solid and felt like sleeping on a piece of wood. Horrendous. The music from downstairs bars ( 2 of them ) was deafening in our room, and went on into early hours of morning ? 3am. Revellers from the night before still congregating outside, very loudly, as dawn broke at 5 am. . Didn’t sleep a wink. Worst place I’ve ever stayed in, and they had the audacity to charge £80 for the night. 😡

The location is sweet. You can enter at the time that you want. The bed is okay and you have to share a bathroom.. Commun soap like in a gym could be add. Thank you but there a lot of work that can be done :)

Absolutely outstanding service and place. Can't al st is a wonderful and safe place to be better than liverpool anyway of the week. Can't wait to go back xxxx
