The only good thing about this place is if you're one of the drunks partying until 5am. The photos don't match the rooms at all; no head board, no pillows (only 2 small pillows) no cleanliness (no wallpaper, dirty carpet, damaged windows), and no wall hook (broken, on the floor). Also, there are 2 night establishments (a club/closes at 5am and a bar/closes at 3am) right below the hotel. So forget about getting any sleep. The floor was literally rumbling from the night club on the second floor.

Stayed overnight, never again. The room wasn’t big enough to swing a cat in, decor grubby. Windows old and flaky paint, carpet dirty. Found a half eaten kebab in the mini fridge, and an opened bottle of someone else’s water on arrival. Socket point not working. The bathroom ( down a grubby corridor ) smelt of sewage when you flushed the toilet, and other male guests thought it ok to take a pee with the door wide open! No hand towels in the toilet to wash/dry your hands. The mattress was solid and felt like sleeping on a piece of wood. Horrendous. The music from downstairs bars ( 2 of them ) was deafening in our room, and went on into early hours of morning ? 3am. Revellers from the night before still congregating outside, very loudly, as dawn broke at 5 am. . Didn’t sleep a wink. Worst place I’ve ever stayed in, and they had the audacity to charge £80 for the night. 😡

The location is sweet. You can enter at the time that you want. The bed is okay and you have to share a bathroom.. Commun soap like in a gym could be add. Thank you but there a lot of work that can be done :)

The room was in very poor condition. The bedsheets were stained, the ensuite bathroom wall had red marks, and the mirror was shattered on all 4 corners. The toilet seat was detached, the bed frame creaked and felt unstable, with visible gaps showing the dowels in the structure. The mini fridge smelled unpleasant, the air conditioning unit didn't work, and the TV was not functional. While it didn't directly affect my stay, I also noticed mold on the ceiling above the shared shower area. Overall, the accommodation did not feel clean, safe, or comfortable.

Room was OK in that it was clean and comfy. I came on a Sunday and as expected (I'd read the reviews) there was noise from outside and downstairs as music was thumping. Luckily, having read the reviews I had bought my earplugs, so was fine! There is indeed still a hole in one of the bathroom ceilings which was letting in rainwater when I stayed and broken tiles in the other bathroom. Apart from this though, all looked clean and tidy on my visit (even the mugs were washed!) Pretty basic, but great if you're off out around Canal Street and want somewhere cheap to sleep. Staff were lovely, location great, rooms and bathrooms just need some TLC.
