If your thinking about staying then I recommend to book book book.. my only fault is that I had to share a bathroom with others, but also for saying it is a busy bar on canal street it was quiet. I had the best sleep ever.. I eas kindly welcomed and also the location is brilliant. Highly recommend and if I'm Inthe area again I'll be staying here

Stayed overnight, never again. The room wasn’t big enough to swing a cat in, decor grubby. Windows old and flaky paint, carpet dirty. Found a half eaten kebab in the mini fridge, and an opened bottle of someone else’s water on arrival. Socket point not working. The bathroom ( down a grubby corridor ) smelt of sewage when you flushed the toilet, and other male guests thought it ok to take a pee with the door wide open! No hand towels in the toilet to wash/dry your hands. The mattress was solid and felt like sleeping on a piece of wood. Horrendous. The music from downstairs bars ( 2 of them ) was deafening in our room, and went on into early hours of morning ? 3am. Revellers from the night before still congregating outside, very loudly, as dawn broke at 5 am. . Didn’t sleep a wink. Worst place I’ve ever stayed in, and they had the audacity to charge £80 for the night. 😡

The location is sweet. You can enter at the time that you want. The bed is okay and you have to share a bathroom.. Commun soap like in a gym could be add. Thank you but there a lot of work that can be done :)

THE WORST HOTEL I HAVE SEEN! We booked this hotel for 2 nights due to the images provided on booking.com and the location. On arrival you have to collect the keys from the bar and then walk up 3+ sets of stairs, past a nightclub on the second floor to get to the room. The room was VILE, blood stains on the back of the doors and on the bed frame. The walls were covered in water/drip marks, the walls in the bathroom were stinking, covered in all different liquids. Rubbish left under the bed, the fan coated in dusk, the extra heater was broken which is a real H&S concern. We immediately returned the key to the bar downstairs and advised them we have requested a refund as the room was unsafe and extremely unhygienic, the manager come over advised us that he would review and out the refund through, yet we are 3 days later with still no sign of this refund. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. I will I could have selected 0 stars as it’s not even worthy of a 1!!

The room was in very poor condition. The bedsheets were stained, the ensuite bathroom wall had red marks, and the mirror was shattered on all 4 corners. The toilet seat was detached, the bed frame creaked and felt unstable, with visible gaps showing the dowels in the structure. The mini fridge smelled unpleasant, the air conditioning unit didn't work, and the TV was not functional. While it didn't directly affect my stay, I also noticed mold on the ceiling above the shared shower area. Overall, the accommodation did not feel clean, safe, or comfortable.
