The Saints Bar

i didn’t know anything about the place before going, and honestly, i left already wanting to recommend it to all my friends. it’s small, but really nice and super cozy. the music was amazing, the service was excellent, and everything i ordered was genuinely really good. since there aren’t many seats, i’d definitely say go early, otherwise you might not get a table.

Such a welcoming and cosy LGBTQ+ bar! It genuinely felt like sitting in a friend’s living room. The atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and incredibly friendly, and the staff made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. I had an amazing time here and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Prague, especially solo travellers looking for a safe and social place to spend the evening. Definitely one of the highlights of my trip!

I’m going to start every Prague review by saying this: Prague is one of those cities where everything is overrated. This is not one of those places. Amazing cocktails. Excellent prices. Great service. Get out of Old Town and come here. Thank me later.

THE BAR ITSELF: Saints Bar in Prague exceeded all expectations during our visit, and we can't recommend it enough! From the moment we walked in, we were met with a warm, inviting atmosphere that immediately set the tone for an unforgettable experience. It was here that we met our fantastic tour guide, Oliver, who quickly discerned that we were the tourists he'd be showing around the city. Paul and Štěpán, the co-owners, were absolutely amazing hosts. We spent the most time with Paul, who made us feel like part of the family throughout our several visits. Both he and Štěpán put in the effort to engage with us and reciprocated our excitement and interest. Their hospitality was nothing short of exceptional, especially during our New Year's Eve celebration. The vibe was social and lively, but never overwhelming. As for the drinks – the Blackberry (or Raspberry) Bramble was a hit with my husband, while I stumbled upon the delightful Porn Star martini, which became my go-to "tip it back and let go" cocktail! Every drink we tried was a craft masterpiece, and the variety on the menu ensured that there was something for everyone. The music played a key role in the bar's atmosphere, perfectly fitting for a gay bar. It was diverse in genres and decades but never too loud – just the right backdrop to enjoy conversations and make new connections. The clientele was a mix of welcoming regulars and new faces, and we felt completely at ease in their company. Saints Bar truly embodies a sense of community and camaraderie, with no negativity in sight. While there wasn’t a themed event during our visit, celebrating New Year's Eve and New Year's Day at Saints Bar was a highlight of our trip. The friendly, like-minded crowd made it the perfect place to ring in the new year. Plus, the location was fantastic – easy to find and centrally located, making it the ideal spot to unwind after a day of exploring Prague. If you're in Prague and looking for a great bar with top-notch service, delicious drinks, and an inclusive, welcoming atmosphere, Saints Bar is a must-visit. We found it by accident and it was the best kind of accident. The prices were reasonable, everything tasted great and the staff was the best. Great place to spend time and talk with some drinks or beer.
