About Sunnyday Sauna
Sunnyday is Basel’s permanent gay men’s sauna, occupying about 850 square metres near the Rhine. Facilities include dry sauna and steam areas, whirlpool, cabins, relaxation space, a bar and an extensive labyrinth for cruising. It serves a local and cross-border crowd and is the city’s principal fixed LGBTQ+ venue outside weekly or monthly events. Friday runs later than other days.
