About The One Club

The One Club is a slice of old-school Bangkok gay nightlife with a new sign over the door. Sitting on Silom Soi 6 in the former Tawan Bar space, it keeps the venue’s muscle-bar DNA alive: male go-go performers, a close-up stage, loud music and the kind of cheeky late-night energy that made Tawan a cult stop for gay travellers for decades. If your Bangkok gay bar crawl is less about polished cocktails and more about shirtless men, muscle worship and a show that gets bolder as the night goes on, The One Club is the obvious niche pick. The cast is more mixed than Tawan’s bodybuilder-only heyday, but current guides still flag it as one of the few Silom go-go bars with a muscular, mature and stockier edge. Shows are usually around 22:30 and 00:30, though timings can shift with the crowd. It’s small, intimate and unapologetically old-school — very different from DJ Station or the slicker newer clubs nearby.

What to expect

Expect a small, close-up gay go-go bar rather than a dance club: male performers rotate on stage, the main shows come later in the evening and interaction with dancers and staff is part of the experience. The mood is camp, direct and distinctly old-school Silom.

Practical tips before you visit

The One Club reopened in 2024 in the former Tawan Bar space; you may still see Tawan or Than Tawan used on signage and social media.

Main shows are commonly advertised around 22:30 and 00:30, but timings can vary with the crowd and some nights may have only one main show.

Recent guides put the first-drink/entry spend at around ฿500. Confirm current prices before ordering.

Cash is the safest option. Visitor reports say performer drinks and tipping can be actively encouraged, so agree prices first and simply decline anything you do not want.

The venue is small and is reported as not wheelchair accessible.

Edit: went again Dec. 2025, more dancers, more action. Definitely worth the adimission price. Old school entertainment. Hard show starts at 10:45 and has a happy ending. The night we were there, somebody's date was sampling all the 🍆 . 👍🏽

Myself and friends had a great time here. Don't listen to the reviews. It's fun. The show is good. Yes, the drinks are expensive, BUT, in comparison to london. It's worth it. We will come back 💪

Sexy and hot muscle guys. If you wanna look for a place to sit, relax, having a muscle guy sitting next to you, caress you. GO FOR IT. The atmosphere is small so it's cozy and nice because I like this style. Can't stop looking at the sexy muscle guys. Some look mature. Some look young. Pick one by waving or looking at their eyes. They will understand. 500 bath for ticket (2023).

Extremely pushy management and overpriced drinks and then these muscular men are obviously only interested in your money and the tips without any quality service or time on you. Most of them are bored and are on their phones, opening their t shirts like some sort of favour to you before putting them on quickly. One already drunk elderly muscular guy working for the club came over and started pawing me while a younger guy started with a shoulder rub, without asking me and then expected me to buy him a drink which I didn't and then tip him, which I did. The elderly guy stuck around and then started negotiating his price and pushing me to take him with me. I actually bought him more drinks, which he happily fell for my scheme to get him more drunk, giving me the chance to escape. The entire episode was quite hilarious on hindsight, but a bad experience if you take stock of the situation.

Two visits in 5 years There is no progressive performance show. The process is boring and perfunctory. The price has also increased a lot. The name of the store has changed. I feel uncomfortable when the space becomes smaller. I won’t come again in the future. Lemon Fanta doesn‘t taste good Waste of money consumption
