TUFF Bar is one of the freshest names in Bangkok lesbian nightlife, tucked away on the third floor behind Silom Edge in Bang Rak. If you’re looking for a lesbian bar in Bangkok, a sapphic night out in Silom or simply somewhere in Bangkok’s LGBTQ+ nightlife that puts queer women at the centre, this is an easy one to love. The room glows with warm amber light, retro furniture and oversized lanterns, with a balcony, proper cocktails and a crowd that includes lesbians, bi and queer women, transmascs, trans women and friends of all genders. The mood changes with the night. Weekdays are made for dates, catching up with friends or actually hearing the person you’re flirting with; DJ nights and weekends turn up the volume and can push the cosy bar into a much more energetic, dancey mood. TUFF also functions as a real sapphic community space, hosting talks and LGBTQ+ events as well as parties. And if one bar isn’t enough, you can turn the building into a mini queer crawl: Cake Bangkok, a bear club, is on the second floor and Bottle Rocket craft beer is downstairs. For queer women exploring gay Bangkok and Silom nightlife, TUFF feels less like a token rainbow venue and more like a place built with its own community in mind.

What to expect

Come early for the cosy side of TUFF: warm lighting, cocktails, conversation and a genuinely social sapphic crowd. On DJ nights and busier weekends the room gets louder, flirtier and more dance-focused, so it works just as well for a first date as it does for a full girls’ night out.

Practical tips before you visit

TUFF is explicitly lesbian/sapphic-focused but welcomes transmascs, trans women and friends of all genders.

Tuesday is currently the regular closed day; the other nights run 18:00–01:00.

Weeknights are usually easier for conversation; DJ nights and weekends can get much busier.

The bar is on the 3rd floor. Cake Bangkok is on the 2nd floor and Bottle Rocket Craft Beer is on the 1st.

Friday Bangkok recently listed signature cocktails around ฿350; prices and menus can change.

Nice bar near Silom. Pretty enjoy spending time listening to music and sipping cocktails. The atmosphere is mind-soothing. I arrived the bar right at its opening hour, thus there were no people which made this place peaceful. Cocktails taste good. Staffs are friendly. A bar is in a walking distance from BTS Saladaeng and MRT, absolutely convenient for all commuters.

I went here on Jan 3rd 2026, around 10 PM, I think. It was almost full, the signature cocktails were sold out, and it took 40 minutes for the first drink to arrive. Having to pay every time you order is fine, but the system definitely leaves a lot to be desired. The place is clean and has a good vibe, but honestly, if it's just for drinks, there are better bars and sapphic-friendly spots elsewhere. I can see why this place has high ratings, but I can’t wait 40 minutes for a single drink every time. If you’re planning to visit during peak season, keep that in mind. It’s a cute and modern spot, which makes it all the more disappointing.

A wonderful Safe Space for Sapphics. Great location easy walkable from BTS sala daeng station or Lumpini Park 🦎 They have special events like tattoo pop ups, theme party’s, movie screenings or lectures. Make sure to check their instagram to be up to date. 🙂‍↕️ The regular nights during the week are more chill and cozy so great for dates ;) The resident DJ on Saturday is setting the Dancefloor on fire. 🔥 THE Hotspot for cool sapphics in Bangkok.

Had a lovely time at this bar! The indoor space is open and nicely decorated and there’s a balcony too. The owners are welcoming and friendly and the two cocktails and fries I tried were all delicious. It feels like a nice spot to hang out with friends and also go for a drink on a date. Would recommend!

The bar is set back from Rama 4. Located on the third floor by the stairway. There are also two gay (Bear) bars in the same building. Found the atmosphere Sapphic friendly, but there was no reason for the DJ to play the music so loud, it's not a gay bar!. We, women, like to socialize, talk and listen.
