About Two Brewers

Craving a night dripping with glitter, fabulous drag queens, and dance floors thumping 'til sunrise? Then sashay your sequined self straight to Two Brewers, London's legendary LGBTQIA+ icon. This Clapham High Street staple ain't your average pub – it's a neon-soaked wonderland where camp reigns supreme and every night's a party. Two Brewers boasts a pedigree older than your favorite pair of ripped denim. Since 1981, it's been the beating heart of London's gay scene, serving up legendary cabaret, lip-sync showdowns, and enough singalongs to make Freddie Mercury proud. Think dazzling queens like Baga Chipz and Sandra, belting out bangers under disco balls bigger than your ego. But Two Brewers ain't just about the spotlight. This vibrant venue caters to every mood. Craving a chinwag with your mates? Settle into the cosy pub area, pints in hand, and soak up the buzzing atmosphere. Need to unleash your inner diva? The Club Bar's your jam, with DJs spinning tunes that'll have you shaking it like Beyoncé possessed you. And if laughter's your poison, Wednesday's "Queen of the Quiz" is guaranteed to tickle your funny bone (and maybe your competitive streak). Two Brewers welcomes everyone with open arms (and fabulous feather boas). Whether you're a seasoned queen, a curious newbie, or simply seeking a night that'll leave you bedazzled and breathless, this historic haunt delivers. So grab your besties, don your sparkliest glad rags, and get ready to paint the town rainbow at Two Brewers. Trust us, your Insta stories will thank you.

A very vibrant and busy club in the center of Clapham, a good mix of rooms and places to move around with some great evening entertainment in the typical cabaret style!

Misleading pricing. The prices advertised online do not match what is shown at the venue. The website says free before 9pm, £8 until 10pm and £9 after 10pm, but inside the bar the sign says free before 9pm, £10 until 11pm and £12 after. This is confusing and feels misleading. Customers should not be given different prices depending on where they look. Transparency matters. I’m pay 12£

Amazing show from the absolutely hilarious DE Experience last night. Could watch them over and over ... Omg the drinks were so cheap. I think it was happy hour or something. I was only on diet cokes because I was driving, but my friend kept remarking that the alcohol was very affordable. The performance was hilarious. I was a little annoyed that the table behind kept talking very loudly during the act. Might be nice to use the back room for the act and the main bar for people that want to chat. I booked a table in advance on the website and accidently booked it for the wrong time, but the staff kindly adjusted the time for me, they were very friendly. The card machine lets you add a tip, but because it's like 5% or 10% it was only in pennies when you're getting a couple of cokes. It might better to be like 10% or £1. Potentially more tips that way.

I’ve been going to Beewes for years and tonight I was refused entry for only having my Id on my phone and not my physical passport, I’m 50 years old, I don’t carry my passport! I was also there 3 weeks ago and ID on phone was fine. It was also blatant sexual discrimination, my friends had got in 10 mins earlier without physical id. The only reason I was refused is that the female security had asked me to go for her for search, as is standard for a woman to search a woman, the male security guard got annoyed with this, I was just doing what I was asked, I had no idea of the hierarchy or that the female security was therefore so obviously less than. Because of this I protested with the door person / manager who said that because I stated my case, I was not allowed in that night as I ‘didn’t listen initially’ when he was talking, ie I was stating what had happened. Shame on you Brewers, you’re supposed to be respectful of gender rights.

Went in on a Sunday with my mates and my girlfriends birthday off a whim! We got cheap drinks during happy hour which is always a bargain! However, the staff member with the scarf on the bar was extremely dismissive of the women in our group compared to the male in our group. As this is advertised as a LGBTQIA+ venue, it really is a shame to feel ostracised within your own community.

Been coming to this bar off and on for about ten years. Never disappoints. Very unpretentious yet fun bar and club. Usually have some fantastic drag acts on and a very decent dance floor at the back. We also went to their Christmas panto this year which was superb! Recommend this place for a few drinks, for a show or all night dancing.
