Werdinsel is a green river island in Zürich-Höngg with swimming spots and an established legal naturist area. A nice place to sit and relax in the middle of zurich, during summer the limmat canal is swimmable and you can take a swim recently temperature of the canal where about 21 c, so very doable, the current is quite strong but is really fun also for kids and adults alike to be pushed by the river current to the following entry point. Water is very clean but sadly it can become so overcrowded that you cannot find a place to lay down with your own towel

Excellent place for swimming outside. Try swimming both with the stream as well as against the stream. There are good showers in more locations along the river bath. Thank you.

our favorite swim spot in zurich. unbeatable little island in the middle of the river. green grass to lounge on. a gelateria di berna truck parked right next to it. whats not to love...
