About Werdinsel
Werdinsel is a green river island in Zürich-Höngg with swimming spots and an established legal naturist area. The clothing-optional section is particularly popular with gay men on sunny summer days, drawing a relaxed mix of locals for swimming, sunbathing and socialising. This is an open public recreation area, not a managed LGBTQ+ venue, so privacy is limited and normal public-space rules apply. Visit in daylight, respect clearly marked zones and take particular care around river currents.
