Alexander Sauna

Had a really good experience here and staff were very helpful and polite. Can remember when they knew it was our first time there, they kindly introduced the building and facilities in detail, which made us feel much more comfortable. We only visited on a Monday around 10pm, and there were still more people then expected, so the atmosphere was good. We also had some fun and good moments with others there. Both the dry sauna and steam sauna were great, clean, and well maintained. Also nice to know they offer an €11 entry for people under 30 (on 01/06/26). My boy suggested there should be a no towel day and he will definitely be back! A very enjoyable visit and would recommend if you visit this beautiful city!

I have been there a lot of times but I always leave that place with a feeling that each time I go I step in to a timeloop. The facilities have many years to be renovated and some times the floor gets slippy from the showers and there are many possibilities to get injured just by walking near them. To be fair its a place you can relax and have good time by using its facilities but all the visitors look like that they don't deserve this place and they are not for this sauna. Keep providing us special man moments Alexander sauna and make some changes at your facilities we need you alive and fresh!!!

My last time here was in 2019, and I was happy to see how much they have improved the place. The staff is very polite and professional. They help with any questions and explain things properly. The areas had several improvements. Both the sauna and steam room were excellent. Can’t recommend these guys enough. Really good place! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

OK, but not really convincing. + Rather large + OK clean - No lube (and condoms) in cabins - Cabin doors mostly damaged, you can not lock. - Weird distributed on 4 floors - Steam bath maze is weird, to many long gangways. No steam, bit smelly - Hard do find warm showers - Missing some relaxing chairs in the wellness area

Without question, Alexander is the only sauna that you should visit in Athens. The alternative, Flex, while closer to the commercial core and tourist sites, is a disaster that you should avoid at all costs. Alexander has 5 floors with the play areas being in the top 2 floors (including the steam room and maze) and the basement. I found that most of the clients were young, good-looking men. The crowds seemed best around 10PM or so. As of writing (10-12-2025) entry was €17 with an option to buy a 2-entry pass for €27. One condom is provided with your towel and slippers.
