Alexander's Guesthouse

We had an amazing stay at Alexander's Guesthouse in Key West! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome and went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful experience. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and impeccably maintained, with a relaxing pool area that's perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and full of charming Key West character. The complimentary breakfast and happy hour were wonderful touches that made our stay even more enjoyable. The location is ideal—close enough to all the attractions in Old Town, yet tucked away on a quiet street for a restful night's sleep. If you're looking for exceptional hospitality, a relaxing atmosphere, and a true Key West experience, I highly recommend Alexander's Guesthouse. We can't wait to come back in 2027. Just got back from a weekend at Alexander's and it was EXACTLY what I needed. The after 8pm check-in option is contactless, but they work with you every step of the way to get you checked in and get your door code sent to you efficiently. The staff here are wonderful - no matter who you are interacting with they are friendly and willing to help with any questions or concerns you may have. Special shout out to the bartender and desk attendant on during the day for making recommendations on what to do from a locals perspective. I stayed in Room# 10 which has a private patio area with a day bed and a luxurious oversized walk-in shower. It walks right out onto the pool deck, and on my next trip back I will do my best to book it again. Parking is non-existent in this neighborhood if you decide to rent a car (I did because I went up to Marathon) but there is a temp spot for check-in/luggage right in front, and easy parking off Grinnell in the garage. The daily happy hour and poolside bar were an excellent feature! Breakfast was another nice touch, the gentleman who stocks it did made to order omelets my last morning there, but it's otherwise well stocked with hot and cold breakfast foods. I cannot recommend Alexander's more highly, I will absolutely be back!

I cannot say enough good things about Alexander’s Guesthouse. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I was in a big house staying with friends and family. The staff all makes a point to learn everyone’s name and create an atmosphere that fosters comradery amongst guests and employees alike. The breakfast is fresh and homemade, the happy hour features free drinks for guests with excellent service, the rooms and entire facility are very clean, and the location is a short walk to many restaurants, bars, and attractions. In a few short days, I made new friends and can’t wait to return.

I am currently staying here and oh my gosh this place unbelievable. I stay in hotels all over Florida because of my job and this place is just absolutely amazing. Everything from the impeccable decor and detailed aesthetics down to the amazing staff. I can’t even say enough about it. The pool area is just pristine and the guests are all so friendly. And the rooms are adorable. I come to Key West once or twice a year and I will never stay anywhere else.

Had a beautiful stay at Alexander’s Guesthouse. My partner and I booked a one night stay and were pleasantly surprised to be given an upgrade on our room upon check in—free of charge! Our room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I asked if we could hang out by the pool after checking out, and the staff was extra accommodating. We were both wishing we didn’t have to leave! We had an amazing, relaxing time and will definitely be back!
