Awful hotel. Had to leave before our reservation ended. All night there was loud stomping and dragging above us which made it impossible to sleep. The lock on our room didn’t work which made us feel very unsafe. The people working there were terrible, we tried to ask a basic question and the guy at the front desk had to call someone and we had to speak to him through the phone. They were very rude when we complained about the noise. And no tea, only coffee. The bathroom wasn’t in the room which was NOT advertised to us, and we were just shut into a basement room which we were also not advised about. The man at reception also gave me and my partner an attitude when we explained why we wanted to check out early. Horrible hotel, do not recommend. Horrible service.

Awful stay. Avoid at all costs, check the reviews. Place is filthy. Staff do not care about your complaints or stay. My room was filthy and bed sheets still the same from the couple who had the room before me. They had a great time by the looks of the lipstick smeared across the pillow cases. Ask for clean bedding and id do it myself, met with an awful attitude and was never giving new bedsheets. They did enter my room while I was out and it wasnt to clean the room. Hope they had a nice rummage around. Money grab, steer clear. But brighton is awsome!! Just stay somewhere else.

this place is absolutely appalling informed on arrival our bathroom was down the end of the hall seperate from the room which was very awakward. the room was absolutely filthy.. they had clearly just made the bed and the place hadnt been hoovered or dusted in months. walked in and found a condom wrapper on the table and while we expected noise we werent prepared for what sounded like ww3 occuring above our room at 2am. went and complained and got nothing but abuse and attitude... avoid at all costs!!

Adequate! Just needed a night to lay my head. I had room 27 which was a pain to find. Small room too! But bed was OK and comfortable, clean sheets too. Was a bit dusty in places, furniture was worn and stained though. When I got back to my room around midnight I was awoken about half 2 in the morning as someone was clodhopping and foghorning loudly above me! Sounded like they were dragging stuff across the floor and stomping around heavily, it's a bit like those annoying people who stomp and slam doors and windows and shout loudly it was definitely one of them! 🙄 Also could hear a couple shagging relentlessly for quite a while before I was thinking of going to sleep so had to turn the football up on the TV to drown it out. Shower was more like a wet room with sloped floor but it was adequate and had hot water. Would I go back? Only if I couldn't get a Premier Inn or Travelodge or anywhere else like last time.

Exceptionally dirty room, infested with insects. Avoid at all costs. The mattress had visible stains on it with dust and dirt in the corners. After one night, I awoke to find 35 insect bites across my entire body. When I alerted management of a potential bed bug infestation, they simply said it also could have been other bugs. When listed, this hotel falsely advertises it has free parking. There is no actual free parking nearby - instead, there is street parking that has occasional free periods, or paid street parking in the area. It has good access to the waterfront and city center. However, I would avoid this location at all costs.
