New Steine Hotel

Lovely and cozy place in perfect location! We felt at home here from the first moment. The owner is unbelievably friendly and welcoming and really makes you feel taken care of. His kindness alone made our stay special. This is not a perfectly polished, ultra-modern hotel. And that’s exactly why we loved it. The place is very cozy and has so much charm and character. You can feel that a lot of love and heart went into it. Everything was clean and well looked after, but what really stands out is the atmosphere. Staying here felt very personal and different from a typical hotel experience. A truly special place.

What a lovely lovely hotel. The staff there are wonderfully polite and kind. Location is great just a very short walk to the pier but just off the front so it’s less noisy. Very old hotel so if you get one of the top floor quad rooms be prepared for stairs, lots of stairs. Single room had no toilet so you had to use the toilets on the first floor, but did have its own shower. Which is the only reason it didn’t get 5 stars. Would definitely stay again. I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and paid over £300… On the second day the management was really rude when demanding us not to use the garden gate which has no notices not to use. We were moaned at for hoover the room during the day because of the noise. We were then accused of doing illegal activities and the management called the police accusing us of illegal things. They made us leave at 9pm and only gave me half my money back because they said they couldn’t clean the room at this time. I highly advise you not to stay there

Stayed in room 207. Nice clean room, good shower, but the bed was terrible we both ended up with chronic back pain. The mattress wasn't just hard, it was lumpy and collapsed in the middle. Walls paper thin, we could clearly hear the gentleman next door snoring. Very steep stairs but the manager did take our bags up for us. Nice room, shame about the bed.

Rooms quiet and cosy with excellent facilities, amazing location, staff friendly and helpful. Great that you can leave your luggage there before check in and after check out. Hope I can return!
