Apollo City Sauna

Well-located (fairly central) with a friendly welcome, but beyond that... it was quiet—mostly regulars chatting amongst themselves at the bar—and the facilities were old and dated (despite a few homoerotic images on the wall that were clearly AI-generated!?)... plus, if you're 40 or 45, you'll almost certainly be the youngest person there! A shame, as the place has much better potential.

I had a really great experience at the sauna today. The staff were extremely friendly, respectful, and professional, which made me feel very comfortable and welcome from the moment I arrived. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, and the people there were polite and considerate, adding to the overall positive vibe of the place. The sauna wasn’t that big but I truly enjoyed my time and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended

The staff were unbelievably friendly. The atmosphere was definitely intimate, almost everyone knew each other. So as a tourist I felt a bit out of place at first, but everyone was so warm and welcoming. Ending up chatting at the bar for ages with some of the nicest guys ever. And had lots of fun with some bears upstairs. Great experience. Definitely geared towards daddies, bears, and bear lovers.

It’s a small but cozy place, the owners are very friendly with tourists and locals... it’s an older audience but it’s worth it to disconnect a little and relax talking

I really want to give these guys a good review for kind welcome and hard work of the staff. Before visiting it, you have to understand that the sauna is very old and everything about it is from 80s. Interior, design, and apparently people. It's a place for socializing on the first hand. I have noticed that most of the visitors ( very few on Christmas Eve of around 10) knew each other, and preferred to cat at the bar 🍻 with a beer and I saulte that. Obviously no cruising scene but more of a meeting people and regulars .
