I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the entire team at Axel Hotel Maspalomas for making my stay such a wonderful experience. The kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality of the staff are what truly make this hotel special. A special thank you to the two gentlemen at the reception, who were always welcoming, friendly, and incredibly helpful. They even offer complimentary room upgrades whenever availability allows, which is a lovely gesture that makes guests feel truly appreciated. During my stay, I had an issue with a lost suitcase, and the reception team went above and beyond to help me. Although it wasn’t part of their responsibilities, they did everything they could to assist me, and I will always be grateful for their kindness and willingness to help. I’d also like to thank the gentleman at breakfast, who was always attentive, cheerful, and ready to help every morning. The bartender and the waiter were equally outstanding. Despite being a small team, they always served everyone with a smile, remained calm even during busy periods, and created a warm, welcoming atmosphere. A special mention also goes to the mature gentleman working the night shift at the reception. No matter how late I returned to the hotel, he always welcomed guests with a genuine smile, kindness, and professionalism. His positive attitude at the end of a long day did not go unnoticed and truly reflects the excellent customer service provided by the hotel. The staff are undoubtedly the hotel’s greatest strength, and they deserve recognition for their exceptional service. As a small suggestion for the future, I believe a few improvements to the facilities—such as some renovation of the rooms—and perhaps limiting the number of outside visitors using the hotel facilities during weekends would make the overall experience even more exceptional for hotel guests. Good stay overall. Very good location and friendly staff. The rooms are comfortable and the atmosphere is nice. However, the hotel is mainly frequented by a gay clientele. This should be highlighted more clearly during booking, as you mostly notice it when arriving at the hotel with the posters and the general atmosphere. The prices are also a bit high.

We love the vibe from this hotel, at the moment you arrive, they give you a warm welcome. The staff is super friendly. We took the room with view on the swimming pool. It is really nice to wake up with that nice easy listening music, if you window or balcony door is closed, no worries you will not hear it. We took the breakfast and that one is amazing. We are still here but already know next time we will come again to this hotel.

Amazing hotel. Rooms are basically one bed apartments with fully equipped bathroom, queer friendly😉 AC in the room works perfectly, bed comfortable and big also balcony with table and 2 chairs. Kitchen with fridge and box compartment freezer, 2x cooking stove sink and small washing pack with sponge cloth and dish wash liquid, wine glasses set of plates and cups and coffee mashine. Swimming pools clean and available all day plus jacuzzi and plenty space around the pool to rest and take sun baths ☺️ Strongly recommend ❤️

Staff are extremely polite, efficient and friendly. A shout out to Aythemi on reception who couldn’t be more helpful, and to the little room cleaner who brightened your day by her sheer enthusiasm. The pool area is nice, clean and spacious. However the sauna and steam room are tiny. The rooms are acceptable but very dark, the black floors and dark decor really don't help. Bathrooms are functional but tired. The kitchenette is also tiny and whilst usable for snacks it’s really not good for meal prep. Overall an OK place to stay, helped by the friendliness of the staff and the central location.
