About Club Revenge

Club Revenge is Brighton’s largest and best-known LGBTQ+ nightclub, located close to the seafront and the entrance to Kemptown. Established in 1991, it has become one of the most prominent queer nightlife venues on the South Coast. The club spans three floors. Its main room features large LED screens, a high-spec sound system, VIP booths and a photo booth. A second dance floor has a darker, Berlin-inspired atmosphere with dancing cages and additional VIP areas. The rooftop terrace offers views across Brighton and towards Palace Pier. Regular programming includes pop, dance and commercial music, drag performances, themed LGBTQ+ club nights, student events and special appearances. The atmosphere is energetic and celebratory, with a mixed LGBTQ+ crowd and allies. Entry arrangements, ticket prices and opening nights vary depending on the event. Advance tickets are recommended for major weekends, Brighton Pride and special performances. Visitors should check the official event calendar before travelling.

I am absolutely disgusted and appalled with how you have banned me a victim of being harrassed, being ran up on by a man who attempted to hit me at your club. You are not handling this in a safe way ironically you’re taking my safe space away from me. I once thought of this club as a safe space but you have deprived me of that once again. This is the second time you are victim blaming me and criminalising me (you say you aren’t but you are otherwise I wouldn’t be banned as the victim which you seem to not understand) from something I have not started and that involves harassment. Do you think this would make women feel safe to report incidents like SA, harrassment if banning said victims of these is your approach ? You are not making anything safe for me you are also affecting my mental state which already completely shit and I thought this being my safe space would make me feel better but as I’ve said you’ve deprived me of this again. Your manager had the most unprofessional disgusting and microaggressive response to me saying I was harrassed by a man aswell. As I quote verbaitm : “it’s always something with you/we’ve heard stuff about you” as if I’m not reporting me litterally being harrassed and threatened. Banning victims but then probably turning around and still letting in the abusers is not how you manage assaults or incidents and I’m absolutely shocked by this. You profit off using me in your posts but don’t care to hear me out when I’m a victim. I don’t find you to be safe especially for poc/ black queer people like me. You really need to improve on your victim blaming as this has taken a massive mental toll on me and I would like to speak to some sort of HR or manager again.

Love it so much! The top level is great with some fresh air and a brilliant view. Most people there are LGBT or allies with a few homophobes but the security dealt with them well when I was worried about some roudy young men attacking some other queer people there. Never had any problems at all myself. Really is an amazing place and hope it stays for a long time. The theme nights are insane with one being childhood and there was a Dora the explorer mascot!

I really love this club. There is always a young crowd and the atmosphere is very comfortable. On the first floor there is a bar and a DJ playing pop music with a lot of people. The decond floor is a bit less crowded with a variety of music and another bar. On the top floor there is an open roof where people usually smoke and talk because the dance floors below are very loud. If you want to get lots of compliments you should definitely go here because the crowd is always very friendly

Last night was my first time at Revenge and I honestly had the best time, not too much of a club person but it’s such a blast to go here with friends! Millie, who took great care of our stuff, is such a sweetheart, had the best chat with her! We will definitely be coming back.

used to be my go-to spot with my friends after I moved to Brighton especially after advertising themselves as such a safe space for the LGBTQ+ community, but I've heard so many stories from people that I know about unfair treatment towards victims. My transgender girlfriend got banned for TEN years for being 'caught in the wrong bathroom' despite the bathrooms being unisex and the place being 'accepting' of trans people using the bathrooms that align with them, then they tried to tell her she was damaging property when she asked how this was possible. She was meant to have a one year van, but they claimed that ten years was 'mistyped' but refused to correct it when she turned up a year later. Now I'm hearing that a victim of harassment was banned for trying to report the man threatening her life in there? Saying that she caused trouble and 'its always something's with her. Incredibly unsafe and unprofessionally dealt with, reporting instances has never led anywhere in my friend's lives and I can no longer bring myself to visit or recommend it to others
