R-Bar

Didnt get food but the overall environment was friendly. Not usually a fan of gay bars/clubs but I found this very laid back. There were a few tables around that was out the way which I found decent as if im socialising id like to hear conversations. Table service available with QR code. Met some lovely couples in there.

Had a lovely calm birthday evening drink with a good friend. Was able to be totally myself and create some artwork while in there. 😊 Staff were great and met some lovely people. Looking forward to visit again soon and maybe do some more painting 🤘👍❤️

Sorry but they was absolutely not characteristic of the bar. Full of tv with pizza advertisements. Bar staffs were more drinking than serving. For a Friday night I would expect a bit more masculinity. The drag was shooting more than anything and really make the night difficult and not enjoyable. The lay out of the bar was also not welcoming. The worst gay bar I have been

50% off regular drinks before 8 is obviously amazing. The place wasn’t too packed mid-May on a nice day which was good. Upstairs has a nice view also :)

me and my partner always come here when we're down in Brighton and it's our favourite bar in the UK I can't lie. We're from Leeds but always make time to come here when we're down. The staff are always lovely and the atmosphere is really nice. I feel it's rare to feel safe as a lesbian couple even in queer spaces but we've never felt out of place. And most importantly the drinks are AMAZING 🙏🏻
