Dreadnought is a neighbourhood pub on North Fort Street in Leith. Its Gayz Onley Pride programme reclaims homophobic graffiti as an inclusive celebration and raises funds for the Equality Network. The pub welcomes people of all genders and sexual orientations and is a mixed local venue.

Opening starts at 16:00 Monday to Thursday and 14:00 Friday to Sunday.

Sunday closes at 22:00, earlier than midnight on weekdays or 01:00 Friday and Saturday.

Gayz Onley is a Pride-month programme; check socials for the current event schedule outside June.

The pub does not prepare food on site; plan a meal separately if needed.

This bar must have one of the best choices of cask and craft beers in Lothian all at reasonable prices. Friendly, informative service throughout the visit. A real pleasure to drink here.

This place was something else, in all the places I visited in Lothian, this place was by bar the best. Great vibes, welcoming atmosphere, kind staff & great beer & prices. Highly recommend, especially if you like cask!

Voted Camra pub of the year for Edinburgh for 2018, 19, 20, 22 and 26, this place is a must visit for all beer lovers and beyond. Ultra friendly and inclusive, no frills and no judgement, just beers, good music and friendly service. Always has a dozen beers on tap and dozens and dozens of cans available. Toby the owner is a real champion of the local brewing and alt. scene, and a Legend himself. Plenty of varied nights too, quiz nights, themed nights and oddball events. Long live the Dreadnought!

Unassuming gay pub in a quiet neighborhood. Fantastic selection of craft beer from all over, funky decor, interesting and unique spirits, and really friendly staff who made it a very welcoming place to be for 3 out of town lesbians.
