We went on a quiet day so I don’t think we got the full experience; the music was great and the place was lovely. Could maybe benefit from having more places to sit? Drinks were rather expensive but it is a club. Staff were so lovely, shame it was close to empty but I imagine it’s better on a weekend. Suitable for all genders too :)

What was once supposed to be a safe space for LGBTQ+ people now feels like it’s completely lost its identity. Instead of feeling welcomed, many of us feel like strangers in what should be our own community space. The club is increasingly filled with large groups of straight men who seem to have taken over the atmosphere. It no longer feels like a gay club—it feels like we’re the minority. On top of that, some of them act as if they’re making their own rules, pushing boundaries, invading personal space, and changing the entire vibe that made this place special. A gay club isn’t just another nightclub. For many people, it’s one of the few places where we should be able to relax, express ourselves freely, and feel safe without worrying about judgment or intimidation. Sadly, that’s no longer how this place feels. It’s heartbreaking to watch a venue that was meant to celebrate our community slowly lose what made it unique. I left feeling uncomfortable, disappointed, and wondering where we’re supposed to go if even our own spaces no longer feel like they’re ours. I genuinely hope management takes this seriously and remembers who this venue was created for before it’s too late. I’m not going to visit this place any longer.

On 12/04/2026 at 2:25, I experienced an unacceptable incident with one of the security staff at this place. He allowed the people before and after me in the queue to enter, but when it was my turn, I was told I was not allowed in without any clear reason, despite not having done anything wrong. I was the only person singled out, which raises serious concerns about the basis of this decision. This behavior appears discriminatory and is highly unprofessional, showing a clear lack of respect for customers. I will not be returning to this place, and I do not recommend it to anyone who might be subjected to similar treatment. Management should seriously review their staff’s behavior and ensure proper training on treating all people fairly and with respect.

We got to skip the que cause my friend is a friend of a friend of whoever - this was probably 20 years ago, but I remember the night well! I seen some things on that place i had never seen in my life! 🙈 The toilets were something that will haunt me forever! Irrespective, it was a brilliant night out & we all had a cracking time!

I previously had bad experiences with security (racism when I was with SE Asian friends) so I avoided it for a while. This weekend I decided to give another try and it was empty, yet one of the security still made me unwelcomed there for having my shirt off. I don't think this is a gay bar anymore despite the name, it's just a bar in the gay village. Everyone I know have similar complaints about the bouncers here since years, yet management still seem to ignore the issue and now it's empty on a Saturday night, when many other places still filled with people. I hope soon someone will take over the management of this place and turns it around, because the bar staff is still kind and it'd be a shame to lose another bar in the village.
