Okay I cannot say enough good things about this spot. Slawa is the most amazing bartender. Kamil it's amazing as well. I've only had the chance to be here three times during my visit to Warsaw. However I know it's a sex club. If you just want to hang out and have a great time, just go to the bar and talk with Slava and Camille and you'll have an amazing night. Seriously they are the best part of this entire place and I hope the owners appreciate that they have incredible employees. I'm very happy to recommend Institute Bar to any other gay/LGBT+ person and even straight people who want to have a great time.

Great place , perfect for trying the local aubergines, peaches... a lot of these , fresh milk and cocktails of course. The horse trading party is worth it to try something different.

Large and spacious bar. There are many dark rooms, and in the basement there is a large hookup area. The place is fairly clean. If you drop by late (after 2 a.m.), there are usually only a few people. However, sometimes—especially during events—it gets very busy, with people of various ages. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Prices, both for drinks and entrance, are also very good. I’m not giving it 5 stars (if it were possible, I would give 3.5) because if you arrive late, when there are only a few people, the entrance fee is still the same. Also, what is most disappointing is that there are neither lubricants nor condoms available in the dark rooms, which is standard in most European cruising bars. In addition, although the listed weekday opening hours are until 5 a.m., they often start closing as early as 3 a.m. In any case, I highly recommend visiting this place! Whether you come with very sexual and crazy intentions or simply with friends to have a drink at the bar.

Great place, plenty of space, extreme clean and fresh. Has all facilities needed to spent amazing time here. Big bar area to relax and 3 different areas to wonder around

I made the mistake of going to Instytut Bar in Warsaw and got treated like the buzzer “system” was broken — conveniently, only when I tried to enter. Yasha at the door wouldn’t let me in at first. I’m about 5’3”, and the vibe was immediately judgmental. Then two men around 6’2” show up, and suddenly the buzzer “works” just fine and the entry problem disappears. Same door. Same minute. Different outcome. And the irony? Yasha looks no taller than ~5’9”, yet he’s running a doorway like it’s a private club for tall guys. For an LGBTQ+ space, that kind of shallow gatekeeping is especially gross — these are the exact dynamics queer spaces are supposed to be a refuge from, not replicate. Inside was empty and the whole thing felt like a power trip. If you’re not tall / not the “right look,” don’t be surprised if the door suddenly “malfunctions.”
