About Locker Room

If you're thinking of checking out The Locker Room in London, here's the lowdown: it's a cool spot for gay and bi guys to hang out, relax, and meet new people. Think of it as your go-to place for a laid-back, fun vibe. They've got the place looking slick after a recent makeover. You've got your 20-man sauna, a steam room big enough for 16 guys, and a bunch of cabins for chilling. It's all about cleanliness here, so you can kick back without any worries. The crowd? Super diverse. Daytime draws a more mature gang, but come the weekend nights, and it's like a melting pot of guys – all ages, backgrounds, you name it. There's always someone new to meet. They spice things up with special nights, like discounted entry on Mondays and Bear Night on Tuesdays – if that's your scene, you're in for a treat. Location-wise, it's a breeze to get to, right near Kennington and Vauxhall stations. They're open from 11 am to midnight, so whether you're an early bird or a night owl, you've got options. In a nutshell, The Locker Room's got a bit of everything – it's welcoming, diverse, and perfect for any guy looking to unwind and maybe make some new friends. Just check out their website before you go to catch any special events happening. Enjoy! 🌈🚿

I often go there because that is the nearest to get to. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Alsoʻ because they take hygiene very seriously. It is a clean and welcoming place

Visited Locker Room this afternoon...I don't know what happened-previously staff was always quite polite. Today I got LOTS of ATTITUDE from Italian gentleman who was manning the entry point Later, his counterpart wasn't particularly welcoming either. Guys, you need to learn how to be more welcoming, it is a social place! Or else, you'll loose all your customers.

I have been to various saunas in European cities like Barcelona, Valencia, Budapest, Amsterdam, Milano Athens etc. This was by far the most dirty and the most repulsive facilitie i have ever seen since now. The facilities inside are so bad maintaned and almost all the spaces smell incredibly bad. It is also very small with tight spaces and only two floors. If you want sleepers you need to pay 4£ for the pair, they do not provide for free. Also if you are not interested to men under 40 or 50 this place is not for you for sure. Almost 70 - 80% of the customers there are over 60 years of age and they do not respect you, they touch without your consent. Overalll it was a terrible experience. Please avoid this place for your own good at all costs especially if you are under 30 and don't like a specific age group over 40 - 50 years old. I left the place after 10 - 15m. even though i had paid for the entrance and for the slippers.

In 20 years of coming to saunas, I never been to one so bad as this, I got the impression staff didn't want to be there, very unclean, smelly, old fashioned, and needs a major update, very small, tiny stand up cubicals, no hot tub Definitely won't be back, far better saunas in the London area

The Locker Room has long been a popular spot in South London, known for its friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. The team here are welcoming and not as strict as at some other venues, which helps create a comfortable and easy-going environment for visitors. It used to have more appeal back when it was known as the onkly Sauna with aheated and comfortable smoking area — a feature that many regulars miss since it closed. Another big change is the hours: once famous for being open 24 hours on weekends, the venue now closes at 11 p.m., which has reduced its late-night appeal.

I’ve been coming here for about 2–3 years, and almost every visit has involved some kind of hostility or unnecessary issue! From the same two members of staff. I always come in with a smile, I’m polite, I don’t take drugs or cause trouble, yet somehow, it always seems to be people of colour who get targeted. It’s honestly disappointing that this kind of behaviour still happens. Tonight, I was watched and followed around the sauna. I’ve spoken to several other customers (coincidentally, none of them white) who’ve shared similar experiences of being treated differently. I’m not someone who seeks conflict, but it was clear this staff member was looking to provoke a reaction. I chose not to engage, but the bias and hostility were undeniable.Of course, those who haven’t experienced this kind of treatment will be quick to defend the staff. But sometimes, it’s important to look beyond your own experiences and recognise that not everyone is treated the same. Don’t claim to support inclusivity while singling people out because of their differences. These two are the ones to be careful of
