Marine Tavern

Such a lovely hidden gem that was right opposite our airb&b - dog friendly and Nan friendly - felt super welcome and included with lots of chats and fun - we went on a Monday and enjoyed drag bingo - which I believe was the only pub in the area to do on a Monday! Nan desperately wanted to see a drag act and the marine tavern did not disappoint- thank you! 🤍

Absolutely gorgeous. Went in on easter Sunday afternoon and staff were very friendly and attentive - I nearly had a medical episode but was helped out promptly and kindly. Other clientele were lovely too, great times were had. Will be back next time we visit Brighton for sure.

Really weird that on 14th January 26. We were told really abruptly to ‘keep the noise down’ when we were just laughing and being daft. The venue was empty, weren’t disturbing anyone (including neighbours) and we were just laughing at a joke. Bizarre take on a pub. The bartender was nice enough until this moment. You’d think a venue in January would be happy to have punters. We didnt buy another drink after that round and spent elsewhere. We were all shocked at being told to shush. 4x tequila 4 x white wine 1 x red wine bottle.

Honestly first time coming to Brighton been to 6 pubs and this is my favourite one of all. It’s a must visit and can experience very friendly loving staff .. Keith was great and the entertainment was amazing. Thanks for a great experience
