Queenshilling is one of the anchors of Bristol LGBTQ+ nightlife and the longest-running name on Frogmore Street. The venue mixes a proper dance floor with seating, karaoke, cabaret and themed club nights, drawing a broad LGBTQ+ crowd rather than one narrow scene.\n\nIt works well as either the main destination or the first stop on Bristol’s compact Frogmore Street circuit, with OMG and OMG Bar close by. The atmosphere is generally community-led and unpretentious, with different nights skewing from karaoke and cabaret to full late-night dancing.

The atmosphere is great once the place starts to fill. However, the lagers on tap need some serious TLC as does the tap for mixers. Watered down at best. Oh and the place needs a really, really good clean.

The bar manager shouted at my friend when she tried to report a straight man groped her on the dancefloor, said that he won’t do “he said, she said,” refused to kick the guy out of the bar because it “wasn’t her decision” who gets kicked out of the bar, and said if she wanted to “claim” sexual assault then she can stay behind for 3 hours after the bar closed so they can call the police. This bar is not safe for gay women.

After being a regular customer for over 6 years...not anymore. After getting threatening messages from a member of staff over a joke made while drunk to another customer who was drunk. Also other customer threatened to smash my head in the staff member overheard and just ignored it. If it was anyone else he would of being kicked out but it was this staff members family member. Try the new OMG bar the refurb is great and the staff are amazing. Update - been told that if I ever want to come back here I need to email the owner apologise and beg to be allowed back in. So a customer was threatened by a member of staff and you expect that customer to apologise and beg to enter your venue. Avoid at all cost
