Schwejk

Personally, I don't understand where the bad reviews come from. It's a bar with good music and drinks, exactly what you'd expect. I really liked the décor and found it to be a pleasant place to relax and enjoy a drink. I'd definitely recommend stopping by and making up your own mind. I had a great experience and would happily visit again. P.S. its cash only!

Note to foreign tourists: This bar has a somewhat unusual system. On your first order you'll receive a small card on which all your drinks are added. You pay everything in one go when you are leaving. Keep this card tight, otherwise you're risking to be charged a hefty minimum spend. This has been my favourite bar in Frankfurt since the mid 90:s. More of a "kneipe" than a trendy bar. Always busy but probably not everybody's taste but definitely mine! 😉 Mixed ages and 99% men.

The people were very friendly to me while visiting the city. Several local patrons and bartender took the time to make me feel welcome.

Actually, a nice, cozy bar. The Style is a bit...screamish. Another * lost because it's a smoker bar, your clothes smell like s*it afterwards But Else, nice and cozy
