Do yourself a favor and go through the Scottish pub to get in the basement to the only restaurant that welcomes anybody at an affordable rate with a delicious meatball dish in Stockholm.

Starting by pointing out that the bold bartender downstairs was incredible rude and weird maybe he has worked there to long and forgot how to be nice to the customers ? Also I find it weird that in a gay bar where everybody shall be welcomed there are Ukraine and Palestine pins on the pride flag in the bar. whatever people think but why do we as a client have to be taking a stand ? Gay bars has became political and staff in them has become snobby. Never again ! I think gay bars should be a place where people from Different countries and backgrounds meet. Not by politics. Let everyone feel included and welcome !!

The staff were nice, and the atmosphere was good. But it didn’t feel like there was enough staff for the number of people who were there. Unlike other people, the staff were really nice to me though quite overwhelmed with the number of guests. Despite that, the gay bar and vibe was great.

The only gay bear bar in Stockholm. The location is a bit far from the centre, around 10 minutes by metro from the main train station. Amazing drinks, quick service, the bar is small but cozy. The only complaint is they close early even on a weekend night.

Different treatment and an uncomfortable experience. Not recommended. I visited Sidetrack on June 6, 2024, with two Swedish friends. During our visit, I experienced a clear difference in the service we received. My friends were welcomed and served normally, while I was repeatedly overlooked. My drink was never brought to me despite several reminders, and I was only able to order food after another member of staff eventually stepped in to help. What made the situation particularly difficult to understand was that only two tables were occupied that evening and the rest of the restaurant appeared to be empty. Given how quiet it was, being repeatedly overlooked became even more noticeable. Throughout the visit, I felt ignored, excluded and unwelcome. As a paying guest, I expect the same respectful and professional service as everyone else, regardless of background or language. Because I was the only person in our group who was repeatedly overlooked, and I have a foreign background, I inevitably found myself wondering whether bias may have played a role. I cannot know what motivated the difference in treatment, and I do not want to claim something I cannot prove. What I can say with certainty is that the experience made me feel deeply uncomfortable and unwelcome. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this place to anyone who values fair, respectful and professional service.
