About The Queens Arms

The Queens Arms is one of Brighton’s best-known LGBTQ+ pubs, located on George Street in the heart of Kemptown. Its unmistakable pink exterior, rainbow flags and celebration of local drag performers have made it a distinctive part of the city’s queer nightlife scene. Cabaret is central to the venue, with drag performers and entertainers appearing throughout the week. Regular events include themed Wednesday and Thursday shows alongside busy cabaret nights from Friday through Sunday. Inside, the atmosphere is colourful, camp and informal, attracting a mixture of Brighton regulars and visitors exploring the city’s Gay Village. Its relatively intimate layout puts the audience close to the performers and encourages lively, interactive shows.

Myself and some friends came down from London for a Friday night in Brighton and went into the Queen's Arms. Glad we did. Lovinia Belle was on stage singing - what a great act! In the second half of the show she sat on the bar and sang Nessun Doormat a metre and a half away from me - it made my week. A quality entertainer and top quality singer. 10 out of 10. The bar staff were friendly and the on stage entertainment was ace. Thank you Queens Arms.

What an absolute dive! Just moved to brighton and thought we'd go out to look for a local. First experience was some grumpy door person who clearly would rather be anywhere but there. Second, was some prissy blonde barman who literally served all of his sycophantic pensioner friends before us, then cuddled and kissed some of them..bit stomach churning but whatever floats your boat. Finally got a drink which whatever it was was not smirnoff, the barman poured a double even though i stopped him twice and said single and then decided to just leave and go to a proper bar rather than a hole filled with people pretending to run one! Overall, sticky floor, icky staff and a gross drink. Needless to say we won't give them any more of our money.not that they are bothered or us... :)

With more back to back entertainment than a royal night at the London Palladium, this cabaret venue is the place to find a home for your party pink pounds. Friendly and highly efficient staff just add to what will be a fabulous night out.
