Tom's Hotel(permanently closed)

Awesome hotel, great staff and very welcoming. Super helpful and easy to communicate. Tim was very nice, helpful and kind. Looking forward to to back soon. It was only just a little bit noisy due to the cranking floors since it’s an old building. But not every second someone keeps waking of course. So that’s basically ok. Very nice and comfy rooms, great sized bathroom with tons of light. No need to mention its perfect location, I suppose. It’s top! Highly recommended!

Absolutely stunning experience at this amazing hotel. I felt welcomed the second I got in as greeted by the amazing Amir. Such a gorgeous human being who has a killer smile. Room is clean n comfy. Location is just PERFECT Lots of restaurants , bars, cruising n everything you would really need including but not limited to groceries/ barber n pharmacy. A must to stay here. Book in advance as hotel seems sold out majority of the times ( which makes complete sense) as wanted to extend for additional few nights but I could not. But I’m glad I had the experience there during Easter and the leather kinky week. It was heaven on earth. Cross the road an amazing cafe for drinks n freshly baked cake / great for socializing too ( Romeo and Romeo).

Totally dissatisfied with my stay at Tom's. I had to check out two days earlier because of the following reasons: Problematic Internet connection: When I asked Tim the desk clerk to help me, he said it was the fault of my Mac computer and refused to help. Tim was rude and seemed to not care about anything I needed or had to say. For 2 days my room was not cleaned: When I complained to Tim that the garbage in my room was beginning to smell, he said I should take the garbage out myself. I asked him to credit me for the time that the room was not cleaned, and he said he would not do that but instead would give me more towels and toilet paper. Sleepless nights: The pillowcases did not fit the pillows and there were 2 single duvets on a queen size bed. I did not sleep well. When I checked out 2 days earlier than my initial departure date and gave Tim my reasons for doing so, he sarcastically remarked "everything is better in America" and insinuated that I should not expect the same standard in Berlin. Not only is this incorrect but it's also an insult to America as well as Berlin. Don't book at Tom's if you're American, they don't like us!!! I moved to the Axel Hotel that had the correct size pillowcases, great service, polite clerks and a duvet that fitted the queen-size bed. Their price was €69 as opposed to Tom's which was €117 per night. Tom's Hotel: Definitely a NO NO!!!

Perfect location in Berlin. In the middle of gay life. Gay book store, gay cloth, gay bars & darkroom just 1 Minute away. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great rooms in historic house.

Great ground floor apartment across from the hotel. Very clean, very spacious and quiet. Pity I couldn't stay longer. Loved it.
