WashWorx is the new chapter for one of Birmingham Gay Village’s most recognisable addresses. Taking over the former Sidewalk building on Hurst Street in 2026, it has turned the space into a polished, theatrical social bar built around characterful cocktails, live entertainment and the kind of warm lighting that makes everyone look slightly more expensive than they are. The programming keeps it firmly connected to Birmingham LGBTQ+ nightlife: drag, live music, Untidy Fridays, DJs and event-led weekends, with food and brunch developing alongside the drinks offer. Great new edition to hurst street. It was a gorgeous sunny day, the vibes were immaculate. Music was good but not too loud. Table service made the whole experience so chilled out. Seating was comfortable, the inside/outside half open walls/windows was lovely. Mocktails were delicious and so reasonably priced. Very enjoyable experience. The only thing that would make this place perfect would be a snack menu. Will definitely be back.

Great atmosphere with nice seating, wasn’t very busy which I liked (to be fair, I did go on a weekday), nice cocktails with cute fun names, and very pleasant friendly staff - OH and the music selection was refreshingly nice

Great atmosphere, Christian was a top bloke and provided us a nice and chilled atmosphere, drinks are good value and overall a nice place to have a couple drinks and relax with friends.
