About Boulevard Newcastle

Boulevard is less a place for an accidental pint and more a destination night out. The custom-designed cabaret venue stages full seasonal productions with drag hosts, dancers, comedy and large-scale costume changes, giving Newcastle’s LGBTQ+ scene something closer to a queer variety theatre than a conventional bar. Danni Dee and Miss Rory are central to the current show format, backed by a full dance cast.\n\nFriday, Saturday and Sunday are the core operating days, with different early and late showtimes depending on the programme. Seating packages are the main experience, although standing options appear for some productions. Boulevard works particularly well for visitors who want their queer nightlife structured around an actual performance, or for groups who prefer a booked table and show before heading into the Pink Triangle afterwards.

What to expect

A ticketed cabaret-theatre experience rather than a drop-in gay bar. Expect table service, choreographed production numbers, drag hosting and comedy, with showtimes driving the evening.

Absolutely LOVED the Spring show here on Saturday!!! It was funny from start to finish, but also seeing the talent and work that goes into this show was insane, I was mesmerised. Miss Rory & Danni Dee were absolutely incredible, SO talented and the other guys were fabulous too. A great choice of songs, just enough laughs and the whole experience was just lovely, bar staff deserve a shoutout too for the best pina coladas I’ve had in a while. THANKYOU, can’t wait to come back for the next show. Xxx

Absolutely fantastic Christmas show for at Boulevard Newcastle!! Gladys Duffy was hilarious, laughing so much and included everyone. Danni Dee and the Broadway dancers were incredible as always, full of christmas energy. Some real comical moments they really are true professionals. CHRISTMAS WOULDN'T BE CHRISTMAS WITHOUT SEEING A SHOW AT BOULEVARD. I cant wait for the next show x

10 out of 10 for the boulevard for atmosphere and performance! The show was incredible! Highly recommend if you want a good laugh sing a long and great vibe. Love the costumes the dance choreography and all of the dancers were so talented! I will be going back soon and bringing more people. Thank you for the best christmas performance ive seen in the town 🤩🤩

Visited Boulevard for Christmas and all I can say is WOW! Gladys Duffy was absolutely hilarious — had us laughing nonstop — and her dress was stunning. Hollie’s table service was faultless, attentive, friendly, and spot on all night. Miss Danni Dee and the Broadway dancer were outstanding — total professionals, beautifully put together, and bursting with energy. They were smiling the whole time and genuinely looked like they loved every minute of it, which made the performance even better. Would I go back? Without a doubt — 100% yes!
