About ClubZeus Sheffield

ClubZeus Sheffield opened in August 2026 in the former Boiler Room premises, bringing a dedicated gay and bisexual men’s sauna and cruise venue back to the city. The club currently offers a dry sauna, jacuzzi, social and play areas, with further refurbishment still under way. The venue is members-only and runs distinct themed sessions, including fetish and naked events. It is open Friday to Tuesday while improvement work continues; the steam room is being rebuilt and is expected to return later in autumn 2026.

What to expect

It's great to see investment in this venue from the new owners. I visited and had a great time on a Friday night. The bar area locks far better than it was before and there's obviously work continuing behind the scenes. I personally like the layout upstairs however I would like to point one thing out they need to turn the brightness down on the television set upstairs because it's super bright and when you come out of that room you cannot see a thing!! Looking forward to see the next improvements but it is 100% better than what it used to be as it's been neglected for years. Well done guys! Looking forward to the new improvements.

Visited for the first time since re-opening yesterday and immediately a vast improvement on last ownership. Was warmly welcomed by the guy on reception and after small issue with membership having not received an e-mail, was in. The improvements obvious as soon as you enter, new shower area on the ground floor, instead of upstairs in a far corner, great. The jacuzzi & sauna both working downstairs then to the vastly changed upstairs, gone are the awkward crammed in cubicles replaced by more open areas, which when finished will be amazing. The glory holes a good addition and the more open cinema room a positive. Looking forward to revisiting over the next months to see the progress and the finished club. As for another comment, despite the building works I found it to be really clean to the point you could smell the cleaning products (not a bad thing!)

First visit yesterday, Naked Day! Was busy with lots of yonger guys, 20 and 30yo which is good! Place is looking good with new lockers, downstairs showers, good lighting on newly surfaced staircase! New bar area is very smart! Dry sauna very hot and upstairs layout is very different. I am not going to say anything much as the cabins, glory holes and kneeling benches were being well used. I look forward to the opening of new steamroom and dry sauna and darkroom. Unfair to comment until it's complete but it's looking new, clean and full of promise! Strange thing was new CZ branding on building sat on top of Bronx sign...that is so old I never visited when place had that name! I look forward to a return Naked Day visit

The Venue is cleaner than before but a lot more expensive than previously unfortunately no freely available freshly brewed filtered coffee anymore. Nearly two pounds for bitter instant. and no free water anywhere unless you ask the one member of staff being employed at the front of house and the bar area. Unfortunately they are still doing construction work and some areas are still unfinished the steam room is out off service until sometime in October but no discount due to this inconvenience. The cruising areas are too illuminated and bright. There are no darker areas. Personally I don't think the layout is as good as it was before. But it might get better as they haven't finished all the works. The showers in the shower area lack pressure and take a while to actually get warm. I was there for over four hours and nobody came round to inspect and check or cleaned soiled areas.
