Went in half an hour before closure, so it was a bit empty, which is understandable, but was happy that we were still allowed to be served. They had a good selection of beers and ciders from several breweries, including the popular Hawkstone beer and cider. I've had the cider, and it was really nice! And even when it was to close, we were given ample time to finish our drink, and the bar lady also allowed others to use the toilets. I would go again, especially when it's expected to be a more lively.

Cosy craft beer venue, good choice of beers on tap - it has the Untapped screens with the list of beers, in my experience that’s usually a very good sign of a venue as is the case here. Great staff too.

I really love this little gem 💎✨ I usually bring my Spanish intercambio group here to practice Spanish conversations in an informal setting instead of an official looking classroom. I have to say, this place always gives me very positive vibes and everyone loves it here too. The drinks are great, the service is super nice and the staff is lovely as well.

A really wide range of traditional and quirky beers brewed with some love by the owner. They are clearly passionate about what they do and serve and wil chat about the different beers and let you try small drams of what you fancy. I had a couple of very interesting Half's, the mild with coconut astonished me. This is not a beer I would normally try but was terrific. It's card only, no cash, and the beer menu is so big and changes so regularly it's mounted on a large flat screen above the bar. Well worth a try on your way into town. Catching the last rays of light around beer barrels outside drinking a fabulous selection of draft, canned, and bottled beers is a great way to spend an early evening in Sheffield. Of course any other time the inside is comfortable and inviting and the back side sidewalk tables are great for afternoon sun and imbibing.
