Inn Leather is a gay-owned and operated men-only guesthouse serving leather, bear and broader gay male communities. The property combines accommodation with clothing-optional outdoor space and a pool in a relaxed adults-only setting.
Property is currently under renovation. New office and lounge area is beautiful and if this is any indication the room renovations will be awesome! Staff is friendly and very accommodating. The venue also currently offer a day pass at a great rate. Spend the day from 11 am to 6 pm. The pool is wonderful and clothing optional. The gay male clientele are a friendly group. Avail yourself of the beauty of the gardens where you are free to explore your fantasy! Stay tuned for renovation updates! Overnight stay is great, and the free continental breakfast is good! A dip in the pool after you awake is an ultimate luxury!

The line above was fed to us all weekend. They told us this to cover up just how bad this place and rooms really are! We booked our room through Expedia. Thinking we were getting an updated, nice, clean room. I thought surely the room would come with WiFi, a working T.V., air conditioning that worked, fresh towels daily, friendly staff that did their job, tried to help their customers, was able to be found, tended to the rooms daily, etc. We paid 500.00 for 3 nights in a trash hole, slum of a room. The room was nothing like Expedia showed. We asked the front desk agent if our room was updated, he said, “No all the rooms booked through Expedia get the old rooms. Looks like false advertisement if you ask me! We get to our and it looks like a trap house motel room. Floors were dirty, shower was gross/nasty, hair all over the floor, air conditioning doesn’t work, no WiFi the whole time, the TV in our room didn’t work, would not connect to anything, had to keep using the same two towels all weekend long (because there was never anyone in the office to get us or bring us fresh towels. This place will close soon. Rooms are horrible, property is a mess, this place is not updated, no customer service, just a bad experience all around. The worst place I have ever stayed at. 500.00 thrown to the wind. Do your self a favor stay elsewhere, don’t waste your money. This place may have been a cool place in the past but it’s on its last leg. Don’t waste your time, money, or energy at this trash box! Oh.. and they updated a few things before they updated the rooms. They put an outside shower in, with a urinal, on Astro turf. We call that putting lipstick on a sow back home. Meaning, you can’t fix a place this far gone with an outside shower and false advertising!! As we were leaving today I looked down at my toothpaste and toothbrush and cockroaches.. not to mention every picture they have posted online are all false advertisement they are of a

So Inn Leather has been sold. I've been going for decades. Unknown where it is heading even though sign in the room says "the ambience and culture you love will stay the same". The new owners also manage The Grand which is really hard to believe as they don't really seem to have any clue about hospitality. Anyone who knew the current clientele has been fired. No manager on duty and during my stay it was construction madness. Workers everywhere walking throughout the place and totally ruining the vibe. Front gate doesn't lock, lights not on at night, and no cameras mean its a free for all after the office closes. I never felt safe even though I did see a security guard walk through twice in the early evening hours. The new owners seemed focused on 2 new rooms replacing the former owners residence in the back and transforming the old office into a new communal check in and snack area. All the buildings have a new roof. The rest of the rooms are the trashy old ones we have become accustomed to except they spent money on bathrobes (which nobody uses) instead of towels, linens, or replacing the dilapidated lounge chairs around the pool. Still no cable television service in the rooms. Their complimentary breakfast is now only lukewarm coffee and a choice of 1 granola bar. They did have a small selection of snacks for sale during office hours. The lounge under the tent with television and vending machines and the hot tub are all gone. Still no ice machine. I couldn't understand why they were prioritizing their spending on adding 2 new high-end rooms in the back while leaving the main facilities without much needed maintenance. Lots of rumors flying around. Only time will tell if they actually intend on keeping the same clientele as it's currently being ignored. Not sure if I will be going back.
What a beginning of a transformation as the new owners renovate the rooms and property. Great progress so far. Place is going to be amazing when they are done and it will still lave the leather guesthouse theme. The employees are doing an amazing job. Will gladly update review once the rooms are renovated.
Room was in need of serious repairs and paint. It was clean, but when the ceiling has dark spots that look like they could be mold, its hard to feel clean. Except for check in and out, we never saw any staff. The continental breakfast that we read would be available each morning, was never seen. Pool was cluttered with plant debris. Room had plenty of closet and drawer space. It also had a full kitchen. The full size refrigerator was nice.
