The Grand Resort and Spa

This was our first trip to Fort Lauderdale and we had an amazing experience at the Grand! The location near the beach and restaurants was very convenient. It was great to be able to cool off from the hot summer sun in the many pools. Finally, what really makes the Grand stand out was the staff. Christian, at the front desk, is a gem and a wealth of knowledge about the area. Billy, Tavares, and Mike were all very sweet and so accommodating. Thanks guys and we’ll see you soon!

After roughly 15 years of visits, I can say this place has steadily evolved in the right direction. The new ownership has invested thoughtfully in the property, and the improvements genuinely show — the grounds feel more polished, the atmosphere more refined, and the overall experience better than ever. What continues to set this hotel apart is the social environment: a welcoming, diverse crowd of interesting, accomplished men from all over, without pretension or attitude. The pools and hot tubs are consistently clean and well maintained, and the landscaping creates a relaxed, tropical atmosphere that still feels rare in Florida hospitality. It’s difficult for a property to improve while retaining its character, but this one has managed exactly that. A longtime favorite for good reason.

I had a blast at The Grand Resort's pool party this summer! The vibe was great, but the service was even better. Huge shoutout to Gaston in the kitchen for being so lovely and serving up an amazing flatbread pizza. Also, Christian at the front desk is a Rockstar—his customer service and problem-solving skills are top-tier. Thanks for a memorable summer stay!"

We are continually impressed with The Grand, especially since they’ve merged properties. Service and amenities are top notch. Love the water stations, ice machines and the complimentary breakfast! Our third stay at The Grand Resort & Spa has been our best to date! The entire team were super welcoming and friendly—everyone offering to assist proactively with anything we needed. We stayed in a newly renovated room in the Alcazar building which was clean, modern and spacious! The rain shower was certainly a highlight. For lunch, we enjoyed sandwiches at the cafe, and Robert at the spa was a must book! Overall, we love the fun and social atmosphere here and definitely will be back!
