Inn On The Drive

I had an amazing stay at Island Drive Hotel. The customer service was outstanding from the moment I arrived—everyone was welcoming, friendly, and always willing to help. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and housekeeping did an excellent job every day. The rooms and common areas were spotless and well maintained. One of my favorite features was the pool. It was always crystal clear, impeccably clean, and provided the perfect place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. The location is another huge advantage. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of many great restaurants, cafes, and the vibrant LGBTQ+ bars and nightlife, making it easy to explore everything the community has to offer. I highly recommend Island Drive Hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, welcoming, and perfectly located place to stay. I will definitely be coming back! Location location location. Place is top notch. Very nicely decorated and tropical. The no hassle check in and out was a breeze. The actual rooms and grounds are very nice and plenty of pools to choose from. If you need a weekend to.party it's steps away from the action and if you just want a quiet get away it offers that as well. That urself to a good time and a heck.of deal . I've stayed at about all the resorts Lauderdale and this will now be my go to.

I stayed at this hotel for the second time, and once again, I had a great experience. The property is super clean and well organized, and the pools are always clean and available to use. The gym is a good size and has everything you need for a workout. The staff is always available, helpful, and very friendly. The location is also excellent, close to everything you need during a vacation, including restaurants and food markets. And best of all, it’s only about a 3-minute walk from all the bars and nightlife in Wilton Manors. I would definitely stay here again!

Prime location to all the amazing things Wilton Drive has to offer. Prior to arrival, the communication was thorough and frequent, and were helpful with early bag drop. The host was nice at the onset, taking our bags to the room. The room was nice, spacious and clean. Lots of fixes are needed to the walls, baseboards, cupboards, and a fresh coat of paint would spruce it all up. Toilet is in a funny spot. Safe location and safety features are top notch - security entry panel to the spaces. Pools are great! Cool spot for hot weather. The fencing around the pools takes away from the charm of the openness of the resort. We reserved a late check-out but the cleaner was pestering us about when we would leave. Once we left, the host was a tad dismissive towards some extra help. We recommend this place - it's cool, close to the action and a nice spot to relax.

Inn on the Drive is THE quintessential gay inn! Nice variety of room, pools, friendly service and location in Wilton can’t be beat! Past positive reviews are all consistent so I had an expectation going in, nothing during our visit was a curveball of some sort. Minor observations- hot tub was not working on our day/night of stay, not enough towels in rooms, wish flush of toilets were stronger, breakfast was more keurig coffee and basics like muffins and yogurt rather than continental in nature, auto locks on doors were annoying at times but understandable for security Nevertheless those are mostly first world problems and in general, didn’t deter dramatically from stay. Will def return for future visits esp for any pre or post cruise 🚢 stays
