About Lighthouse Books
Lighthouse is one of Edinburgh’s most substantial queer daytime spaces. The independent radical bookshop is queer-owned and woman-led, explicitly describing itself as an intersectional feminist, anti-racist and LGBTQ+ community space.\n\nThe shop carries around 10,000 titles and has a particularly strong queer section, alongside regular events and an LGBTQ book club. It is a genuine community venue rather than simply a shop that happens to stock Pride titles.
