Clonezone Soho

Clonezone is the UK and Europe’s FIRST Gay superstore. We first appeared on the UK Gay scene in 1982 –where we began with a wheelbarrow of t-shirts, toys, lube and other naughty treats being pushed about the nightlife of London’s Earls Court. Clonezone was founded due to four close friends being frustrated at the lack of quality products available to the Gay community. The first Clonezone opened inside of Brompton’s – a legendary Gay pub in Earls Court that is now unfortunately gone. Our early customers included a fabulous mix of the LGBT community and a few very famous Gay superstars, who of course we won’t mention ... As our popularity grew, in 1984, we began to open up our own shops. Clonezone became an integral part of the Gay scene and provided customers with news of local Gay venues and a safe place to shop for the hottest fashion, toys, porn and much more – during a risky time for the LGBT community in the UK. Our exciting stores were opened by icons such as Lily Savage, Sue Pollard and Kenny Everett. During our 30+ years in the Gay scene we have proudly supported HIV & AIDS research and promoted safe sex. We are proud supporters of many Gay charities and are often involved with charity events and fundraisers in the UK. We were the FIRST Company in the UK to import Levi 501 jeans direct from America, despite Levi’s anticipating there was “no interest” in 501s in the UK. Our bespoke leather designs have been included in exhibitions at the the V&A museum and remember the famous red PVC thongs from ‘The Full Monty’? – Yes, they’re ours too! Unfortunately, due to one of the worst recessions in history, like many other high street chains – we struggled. However, our iconic brand was recognised and fortunately saved. Clonezone came back bigger and better than ever. Now – Clonezone is bigger than ever. We are still going strong and providing the best products on the market for you at the best prices. Our purchasing manager travels the world to find the sexiest fashion and underwear – as well as naughty pleasure devices for your fun. You can now find us in Soho, Earls Court, Manchester and Birmingham – as well as online. Our technology has advanced. Our new website is our fastest and most secure (We use HTML 5 for all the geeks out there). We are constantly making improvements -the boffins upstairs are always tinkering with our back end. We are immensely proud of our history and look forward to making more memories with you all. We tweet, we’re on Facebook – we love interacting with our customers. No question is too big or too small – it’s not always about making sales. We want YOU to enjoy our products, because that makes us happy. After all, without you, we wouldn’t have got here… would we? Thank you for shopping with us, it really doesn’t get much better than this.
