If you’re looking for one of the most fun, high-energy beach experiences anywhere in the world, Mantamar Beach Club is it. This is truly one of my favorite places on earth, and every single visit reminds me why. From the moment you arrive, you feel it—the energy, the music, the welcome. This is a space where you can fully be yourself. I always feel safe here, and that sense of inclusivity and acceptance is something that really sets Mantamar apart. Whether it’s your first time or your tenth, you’ll feel welcomed right away. The vibe is unmatched. World-class DJs from around the globe are constantly spinning, creating an electric atmosphere that carries from day into night. Their beach festivals—New Year’s, Pride, Bear Week—are honestly some of the best in the world. The production, the crowd, the music… it’s next level every time. During the day, the pool is the place to be. It’s fun, social, and perfect for people-watching while soaking up the sun. The drinks are strong (in the best way), and the service is always quick and on point. One thing I love that people don’t talk about enough—this is also an amazing spot for lunch. Sitting by the water, enjoying great food and cocktails while watching the sunset over the ocean is just unreal. It’s one of those moments that makes you stop and appreciate where you are. You’ve got great options depending on your vibe—rent a beach chair for something more relaxed, or go big with a cabana and make a full day of it. Either way, you really can’t go wrong. But what truly makes Mantamar shine is the people. The staff here are absolutely incredible. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind—they go out of their way to make sure you’re having the best time. You can tell they take pride in what they do, and it shows in every interaction. Huge shoutout to the entire Mantamar team—you are the reason this place is so special. Mantamar isn’t just a beach club—it’s an experience, a community, and a place where unforgettable memories are made. I’m already counting down until my next visit. See you all very soon!

We had a wonderful time with beach front chairs! Billy was our server and was attentive and friendly. We had amazing ahi tuna and drinks. The vibe and music was also a plus. 100% recommend!

We visited Mantamar with a group of five (expecting six) and prepaid for VIP access to multiple pool parties and the New Year’s Eve celebration. While the venue itself can be fun, the experience was undermined by inconsistent rules, poor communication, and weak customer service. We were instructed to arrive at 11:00 a.m. to receive our VIP tickets, only to be told upon arrival that they were running late and would not open until 12:00 p.m. That set a frustrating tone right from the start. During the day, the VIP area itself was spacious and enjoyable, but the rules seemed to change daily—or depending on which server you had. • Day 1: Our server, Leo, was straightforward and professional. Everyone received wristbands, and we were able to order drinks at the bar on a single shared tab all day. This was exactly what we expected from a VIP experience. • Day 2: Our server, Kiki, told us that we were required to purchase bottle service in the VIP area instead of opening a group tab. After some back and forth—and after agreeing to bottle service—we were eventually given wristbands so we could order from the bar. The inconsistency was confusing and unnecessary. The New Year’s Eve party was easily the worst experience in terms of drink service. Mantamar implemented a ticket-based drink system, similar to a carnival: first waiting in line to get drink tickets, then waiting again at the bar to redeem them. This was extremely inefficient and frustrating, especially for a VIP event. Additionally, the VIP area was clearly oversold. The elevated attached patio became so crowded that it swayed and felt unsafe, which was alarming. On Friday, we were approached by Andrea from Almar, who offered brunch followed by a tour to see if we might want to stay there in the future. What began as a friendly introduction ultimately turned into a Rental Condominium International (RCI) sales presentation. The promises of value felt difficult to trust, especially after later reviewing feedback about the program. On Saturday, our server Irvine informed us that the lounge chairs in the VIP area required an additional $250 USD, though we could use bar stools without extra charge. This was the final day of our prepaid VIP access, yet he removed my VIP wristband. On Sunday, Mantamar decided to allow guests who had purchased VIP access back into the pool area without paying cover. Because my VIP wristband had been removed the day before, I was forced to pay full admission again, despite presenting a receipt, my ID, and a VIP swag bag clearly labeled with my name. This was incredibly frustrating and felt like a complete failure of customer service. After all of this, I can honestly say the party atmosphere itself is fun, and Mantamar clearly has potential. However, the experience would be so much better with consistent rules, transparent pricing, and staff alignment. For a venue positioning itself as premium—and charging accordingly—guests should not feel confused, nickel-and-dimed, or disregarded. Mantamar could be great, but it needs better organization, clearer policies, and a stronger commitment to customer service to truly deliver a VIP experience.

My spouse and the couple we were traveling with found this place a few years ago which is located next to the Blue Chairs resort. For a fee, you get all day usage of 2 reserved lounge chairs (the most uncomfortable I've ever sat on) and an umbrella, free WiFi in the dining area with a good signal on the beach, use of an infinity pool, and concierge services. THE FACILITIES: A huge, open air hut houses a spacious dining room, lounge area, and bar but no bartop seating. An infinity edge pool is attached with swim up access to the bar. Bathrooms are for guests only and were fairly clean. House/techno music plays all day long. THE BEACH: The area fronting the chairs had huge waves, while just a few feet north, the water was much calmer and swimmable. The sand is soft with a white/brown mix. THE POOL: It was such a fun place to hang out in and drink, So much so that I forgot to eat lunch that day! The bar has swim-up service, the bathrooms were close by and the place wasn't overly crowded. MENU: A huge drink menu, sushi, pasta, sandwiches, burgers. FOOD: Mushroom Burger The bun was just too thick, the patty was dry and tasteless and the fries were overdone. Very disappointing. The crispy bacon strips and avocado slices were the only good things. Pass. Guacamole & Chips Fortunately this was a good dish. All the guacamole we've eaten in PV has been phenomenal. SERVICE: Our male server was so slow and nonexistent. Food delivery took forever, and he constantly forgot things which prolonged the wait. Our second order of drinks never came. Horrible. I saw the guy 3 times in the 5 hours we were there. On top of this, others are trying to get you to attend a 75 minute selling session on their condos. OVERALL: Free Wifi on the beach with the option of hanging in a swimming pool. Nothing more. Way better food and service can be had at Ritmos next door.
