I don't even know where to begin in praise of this institution, so vital to the life of Wilton Drive and the community. Rosie's is a tropical oasis with a lively, fun atmosphere, and a great varied selection of American bar food like burgers, sandwiches, and salads, along with daily drink specials, a full bar, and a large outdoor patio for dining and socializing. The spot is a local institution, offering brunch, lunch, and dinner in a festive environment with friendly, campy service. John and Cliff (no relation to me) are the longtime owners and the longtime stewards of the place 's well-deserved reputation for taking an active part in the well-being of the community and their staff, many who have been there for decades, and some who worked there until they left this mortal coil, may their memories be a blessing to the kind of bonds of love and friendship that are forged every day at the bar and in the dining areas. Their managers Mark and Peter are longtime fixtures who know the restaurant and their customers, and Merv is a shining star of the floor and the dining room. My recommendation: the Frozen Mudslide, which I am lobbying to be called the Cliffslide 😂 You'll find: American bar food, including burgers, sandwiches, salads, and appetizers like coconut shrimp and jumbo warm pretzels. Casual, fun, and festive with a tropical, Key West vibe, that's truly a joyful refuge. A full liquor bar with daily drink specials, including great Sunday brunch specials like mimosa and Bloody Mary buckets. Indoor and a large outdoor patio with seating and an outdoor bar. "Sunday Funday Brunch" and daily drink specials. It's a fun and deservedly popular spot for locals and visitors, welcoming to the local LGBTQ+ community and allies.
