About Rusty’s Showbar
Rusty’s Showbar takes the familiar Rusty’s brand and shifts the focus from late-night dancefloor to live cabaret. Launched in 2024, it programmes local, national and visiting performers alongside the Rusty’s Girls, giving Newcastle’s Pink Triangle a dedicated place for a more structured queer show before or instead of a club night.\n\nThe format changes with the programme: some nights lean towards headline cabaret, others towards drag brunch, viewing parties, games and audience participation. It is best treated as an event-led venue rather than somewhere to wander into expecting the same experience every weekend. Check the current bill, book when required, then use neighbouring Rusty’s or the wider village if you want to keep going after the show.
