Sydney Sauna

Having a great time at Sydney Sauna! The atmosphere is welcoming and open-minded, and the crowd is friendly and respectful. The place is clean, well maintained, and the music created a really fun vibe for the night. The staff were also very helpful and made everyone feel comfortable. Definitely a good spot in Darlinghurst if you’re looking for a relaxed and social night out. I’ll be back again!

Sydney Sauna is honestly excellent. It’s super clean, the staff are professional, and the whole place has a great vibe with really nice design. This was my first ever sauna experience and it couldn’t have been better — respectful crowd, relaxed atmosphere, and everything feels well run. Also love the dark “black room” — totally pitch black and really cool. Highly recommend.

Outstanding venue and staff and management. All Sexualities Thursday nights are full of fun and friendly people. Mixed with all sexualities to cater for your desires and play dynamics. Convenient location and recently renovated venue, which makes it look nice at first glance. Unfortunately, the renovation alone isn’t enough to make the overall experience great. There is a dark room, but it’s extremely small — it can probably fit only 4–5 people, which feels very limited during busier times. The spa water wasn’t hot, and the showers kept turning off, so it was almost impossible to get a steady flow of hot water. The overall temperature inside the venue was quite cold as well. The staff didn’t seem particularly friendly. There’s no pass-out option, and they charge $5 for towel replacement. Overall, the place has potential, but there are several areas that need improvement.

Overall, Sydney Sauna feels more spacious and better located than some alternatives, and it covers the basics well. Pros • More space and room to move around compared to other saunas, which makes it feel less cramped • Lube and condoms are provided, so you don’t need to worry about bringing your own • Convenient location near a bus stop and not far from town, easy enough to get to Cons • The staircase to the downstairs play area feels old and uncomfortable to walk on barefoot • You have to pass the jacuzzi area to get downstairs, which often means wet floors and uncomfortable feet • Some of the beds feel old and can be a bit smelly, which really takes away from the experience • Staff aren’t rude, but they’re not particularly warm or welcoming either; very “just doing the job” energy • The downstairs play area is slightly lit, when it’s not very packed, there isn’t much going on, so the space can feel a bit flat • Pass-out policy is limited to one per entry, with some other conditions
