Sydney Sauna

Dear Management, I am writing to you regarding a disappointing experience I had at your facility this past Thursday. I have been a regular customer for over a year, specifically enjoying your sauna after work. During this time, I have always maintained a respectful and polite demeanor toward all other patrons and staff. I am fully aware of the facility’s rules regarding conduct toward others, and I have always strictly adhered to them; I have never caused any discomfort to any female patrons. When I arrived on Thursday, I was denied entry, despite the fact that I have been visiting regularly for more than a year. Since you keep records of your customers’ IDs and visits, it should be clear that I am a long-term, consistent patron. It was particularly confusing to see five other men allowed to enter immediately after I was turned away. As a loyal customer, I would appreciate it if you could prioritize those who have been visiting for a long time and have a proven record of respectful behavior. Could you please clarify why I was denied access and what the current criteria for entry are? I value your facility and would like to continue my visits. I like it. The staff was attentative and polite. They actually had a dj there the night i went. I like the café bar setup. First time i have seen that. Big jacuzzi area and alot of interesting areas to roam around. I went a couple times during my stay in Sydney.

Sydney Sauna is honestly excellent. It’s super clean, the staff are professional, and the whole place has a great vibe with really nice design. This was my first ever sauna experience and it couldn’t have been better — respectful crowd, relaxed atmosphere, and everything feels well run. Also love the dark “black room” — totally pitch black and really cool. Highly recommend.

My first visit to Sydney Sauna was disappointing due to the customer service. When I arrived, there was no one at reception and no bell or other way to get someone's attention. I waited for around 10 minutes before the receptionist noticed I was standing at the counter. When he finally came over, he simply looked at me and waited for me to speak, even though it should have been obvious that I was there to check in. As it was my first time visiting a venue like this, I was a bit nervous and wasn't sure what information he needed from me. Instead of being welcoming or helpful, the receptionist (the gentleman with the Spanish accent) came across as dismissive and condescending throughout the interaction. At one point, he asked whether I understood him and later asked me to repeat what he had just said, which I found patronizing and unnecessary. The overall tone felt passive-aggressive rather than professional or customer-friendly. Before visiting, I had seen similar comments online about the reception staff and assumed they were isolated incidents. Unfortunately, my experience was very similar. I expect basic courtesy and respect when visiting any business, especially as a first-time customer, and this experience left a very negative impression.

The bathhouse and spa were way too hot, including the room temperature. The one staff also seemed unfriendly and unwelcoming, with little effort to smile or be polite. Overall, not a very relaxing experience.
