Fantasy Island Inn

This place was a unique surprise and will now be my home away from home in Ft lauderdale/Wilton manors. Fantasy Island Inn, Wilton Manor, Fort Lauderdale is a small 3 suite inn that is very quiet, private and secure with a swimming pool and beautiful grounds. The rooms are modern clean and beautiful. Doug, the owner host is wonderful. Doug made me feel right at home even with my having to check in late with flights. He was there waiting for me when we communicated right after I landed, and I saw him multiple times during my multi day visit. The amenities are spectacular from a little continental breakfast room every morning stocked with all sorts of morning, beverages, drinks, snack, snacks, and simple breakfast food to a stocked refrigerator and snack draw in your room all complementary and that’s including all kinds of beverages. It is right in the center of where it’s all happening in Wilton manors. It’s a quick 3-4 minute walk to The Gym bar down the street and near all the other establishments around. I can’t say enough wonderful compliments about Fantasy Island, I love this place so much. I have to be down in Fort Lauderdale again at the end of the month and booked it for a few nights before heading to a wedding I’m attending just to revisit. 🥰

This is my second stay here, and I highly recommend it. The owner, Doug, is welcoming and flexible. He allowed an early check-in; the bed is very comfortable, the shower is excellent, and the other amenities are impressive. The heated pool is great, and the location is near nightlife yet remains quiet. Doug also offers resources for beach trips. If it is available, book this place—I certainly will again.

The rooms are perfect and well stocked with everything you will need. Your host Doug is very helpful and will help you with anything you need and great suggestions for the area. The location is also bang in the middle of Wilton Manors with most bars within walking distance. This is a must stay if you’re in Wilton Manors.

This is a great place for a getaway. The room was clean, comfortable, and stocked with water, snacks, and more. Doug was an amazing host. The pool was clean and heated. The location is half a block from Wilton Drive near many bars and restaurants. I absolutely recommend staying here if you have the opportunity.

We had the most amazing weekend here! Everything about this place adds to the relaxation and escape that you're looking for in a vacation. Doug is the perfect host and he does an extraordinary job of making you feel at home, going above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your stay. The room was clean, comfortable, quiet. The pool area is beautifully maintained and feels like a private tropical paradise. A huge benefit is the location, literally just steps away from all the excitement of Wilton Drive. We've already booked our next trip, can't wait to come back!
